Uttarakhand is currently seeing an arrival of visitors as the high court has allowed Chardham Yatra to officially register COVID-19. Ravinath Raman, Garhwal commissioner and Uttarakhand CEO Chardham Devasthanam said, “A total of more than forty-four emails were sent yesterday and today, in which 9,989 emails were sent to Shri Badrinath. Dham, 18,934 from Kedarnath, 4,727 from Gangotri, and 4.” According to him, 9989 emails were received to Shri Badrinath Dham, 18934 emails from Kedarnath, 4727 emails from Gangotri, and 4361 emails from Yamunotri. Only on Sunday afternoon, 1267 visitors reached four dams.
All requirements were met for the players, and the COVID agreements were met and implemented. Travelers still have access to clean drinking water, as well as to health, food, and shelter. The Uttarakhand state government has explained that foreigners will be asked to produce a true COVID document. At the same time, the pass is a must for visitors to Chardham.
