Greece is promoting its initiatives to keep visitors visiting all year long at the significant World Travel Market (WTM) show in London, the premier event for professionals in the travel business.

The Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) will attend the WTM, the yearly B2B show, with a brand-new multipurpose pavilion that will promote Greece’s uniqueness.

WTM London, which is in its 42nd year, is taking place from Nov. 7-9 and has reverted to a live, pre-pandemic style at London’s ExCeL, giving nations an opportunity to showcase their attractions.

The Beginning of Travel in the Future the COVID-19 epidemic is decreasing, but people are still becoming sick, being admitted to hospitals, and dying. This is the theme, and international aviation travel is returning with a bang.

At the newly redesigned Visit Greece/GNTO booth, which will feature more than 80 Greek exhibitors, including regional tourist offices, travel trade partners, travel agencies, hotels, resorts, tour operators, and other players, the best of Greece will be showcased to the United Kingdom market and the rest of the world.

While the UK is the nation’s second-largest source market and has contributed to what seems to be a record year in 2022 despite the Coronavirus, with worries subsiding, Greece is a major draw for British tourists.

In the first eight months, the Bank of Greece reported a 316 percent increase in the number of British visitors to over 3 million and a 173.1 percent increase in their expenditure to over 2.2 million euros ($2.2 million).
