Now that JetBlue customers may use points to pay for their complete vacation packages, booking a dream vacation will be more reasonable.

According to the airline, TrueBlue members will now be able to use cash or points to pay for a whole JetBlue Vacations vacation, enabling customers to book the flight, hotel, or auto rental with points. Prior to this, only the flying part of a trip could be paid for with points.

Andres Barry, president of JetBlue Travel Products, stated in a statement that the introduction of the cash + points redemption option for JetBlue Vacations packages gives even more value and flexibility to customers who are eager to travel again. Travelers who use points to pay for their whole trip will still need to pay cash for insurance, certain taxes, and other costs. Additionally, the organization does not allow the use of points to purchase travel and cruise packages.

Customers may use a slider when making a reservation on the website to select the number of points they wish to use toward their trip, starting with as low as 500.

A complimentary in-flight beverage and faster boarding times are benefits offered to travelers who reserve a vacation with JetBlue Vacations. Additionally, in some locations, they are given access to a network of “insiders” who may assist with everything from activity suggestions to restaurant reservations.

JetBlue unveiled Troupe, a new software, this month to make organizing group travel considerably simpler. The software enables several users to create the idea of a group vacation together, allowing participants to choose travel dates, destinations, lodging options, and even activities.
