To increase tourism in the country, the Azerbaijani government abolished the requirements for COVID-19 testing for fully vaccinated travelers. From now on, fully vaccinated visitors to Azerbaijan will no longer need to undergo RT-PCR testing.

Authorities have relaxed travel restrictions, but people from abroad must be fully vaccinated. The country has also eased travel restrictions on all domestic flights, and travelers no longer need to be tested before departure.

Coronavirus outbreaks in Azerbaijan appear to have decreased significantly. As a result, authorities have increased the requirements for masks on public and indoor transport, including in shops and healthcare facilities.

Azerbaijan recorded just 15 new cases of the virus on Thursday, bringing the total to 792,320. The country’s Task Force shared information with the Cabinet of Ministers for Virus Prevention and Control.
