Customers of Alaska Airlines may now earn one mile for every dollar spent on the majority of Lyft trips in the United States and Canada.
Travelers now have a new method to accrue miles while using Lyft thanks to Alaska Airlines.
From now on, most Lyft trips in the US and Canada will reward Alaska Airlines passengers one mile for every dollar spent.
Additionally, as a Christmas bonus, the airline is giving customers double the miles on every dollar they spend through December 31.

According to Sangita Woerner, senior vice president of marketing and customer experience at Alaska Airlines, “our new relationship with Lyft ensures that our travelers are also taken care of on the ground while they go destinations.”
Millions of consumers who rely on us for access to their chosen forms of transportation recognize both Alaska and Lyft as reputable brands.
Travelers must digitally link their Lyft and Alaska Airlines accounts to register. To earn miles, participants must choose the Alaska Mileage Plan as their preferred travel partner in the Lyft app’s rewards area.
Most Lyft trips, including Lyft Standard, Wait & Save, Priority Pickup, Shared, Shared Saver, Preferred, Lyft XL, Lux, Lux Black, and Lux Black XL, will earn travelers points. Rides on bicycles and scooters are not eligible to earn miles.
In addition to Alaska Airlines, Lyft has a partnership with the SkyMiles program of Delta Air Lines. A dollar spent in the United States earns one mile, and a dollar spent on airport transportation earns two miles, thanks to this agreement.
