The fourth OurAfrica. The virtual trade fair will take place from February 20–24, 2023, providing an accessible, cheap, and inclusive platform for the African and Indian Ocean Islands travel industry to network with international buyers.

The trade fair in 2023 will be shortened to five days from two weeks and operate nearly around the clock to account for the various time zones.

In order to accommodate additional discussions about media partnerships and strategic alliances, meetings will now last for 20 minutes.

As in previous years, participation is free for the media, travel buyers, tour operators, travel agencies, and destination experts. In February 2023, online calendars become life.

When registering and paying before December 15, 2022, exhibitors will receive an “early bird” discount.

The show’s emphasis will once more be on raising money to support conservation efforts and community initiatives while remaining almost carbon-neutral.

Two nominated charities will receive a portion of the proceeds. The recipients for 2022 were the Mukambi Community School in Zambia’s Kafue National Park and For Rangers, which raises money for anti-poaching rangers throughout Africa.

The platform’s agents and operators with the highest levels of engagement will also receive prizes. The trade will not impose a minimum number of meetings as a condition of participation.

Over 500 buyers from around the world met with 240 exhibitors from Africa and the Indian Ocean islands during the two-week March 2022 show. Additionally, there were over 51,000 networking chats and 128 000 profile visits.
