Travel by Design, an integrated content platform showcasing never-before-told design stories that inspired some of the most extraordinary hotels in the world, has been launched by Marriott International, a company known for its exceptional portfolio of 30 hotel brands, award-winning loyalty program, and endless experiences.

Samsung’s free, ad-supported streaming service, Samsung TV Plus, will include the first-ever dedicated branded destination thanks to a partnership with Marriott Bonvoy and Samsung. From November 1, 2022, Samsung TV Plus subscribers may access the on-demand library by selecting a tile from the service’s home screen and navigating through a carefully curated selection of travel-related video material.

In order to bring tourists closer to places and cultures for a more immersive travel experience, we are thrilled to debut our Travel by Design platform, according to Annie Granatstein, Vice President, Content Marketing, at Marriott International. “We are happy to be able to provide tourists with this one-of-a-kind, at-home experience to cross something off of their bucket lists since we are aware that people are reconsidering how they want to see the globe.

Travel by Design brings stories of design and architecture to life from world-renowned creatives, such as Frank Gehry and Yabu Pushelberg, with articles, films, podcasts, and photography across multiple channels, including digital, editorial, and social platforms. These stories may be about a secluded overwater villa in the Maldives, a reimagined royal palace in Budapest, or a trendy hotspot in downtown Los Angeles.

Known companies like W Hotels & Resorts, The Luxury Collection, Autograph Collection Hotels, and others come together in four compelling stories in the collection of short films Travel by Design. The immersive video series will be shown worldwide on Marriott Bonvoy TV and be accessible via streaming services like YouTube, Samsung, Roku, and Samsung.

The Travel by Design podcast, hosted by Hamish Kilburn, Editor at Hotel Designs, meets the architects, designers, and visionaries that go deep into the craft and learn what inspired their concept, how their creative process develops over time, and what it is like to appreciate the place as a tourist. On Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts, six audio episodes will be accessible.

For stays at any of Marriott Bonvoy’s 30 outstanding brands, which include all-inclusive resorts and luxury vacation rentals, as well as for regular expenditures made with co-branded credit cards, members may accrue points. In addition to future stays and Marriott Bonvoy Moments, members may use their points to purchase opulent goods from Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques through partners.
