As Char Dham Yatra resumes from Saturday, the Indian Railway Restaurant and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a special train tour of the famous Deluxe AC train Dekho Apna Desh. This comes after the success of the ‘Shri Ramayana Yatra’ train announced in the Ramayana region.
The 16-day journey started at Delhi Safdarjung railway station yesterday and included visits to Haridwar including Ganga ravine, temple, and Ganga aarti, Rishikesh including Lakshman Jhulla and Triveni ravine, Ajodhaya including Ramjanam Bhoomi, Hanuman Garhi Aarti, and Nandigram, Varan Puri includes Jagannath temple, Puri Golden Beach, Konark Sun Temple, and Chandrabhaga Beach, Rameshwaram includes Ramnathswami temple and Dhanushkodi, Dwarka includes Temple in Dwarka, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Shivrajpur coast, and Beth Dwarka.
Visitors will walk about five hundred miles along the road.
